2012 North Shore Moto Surf in Haleiwa, HI

Thats Right!!!! Moto Surf along with the Maui Ola Foundation are putting together a Pro/Am Moto Surf Competition/Fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis on the North Shore of Oahu, HI. Racing will be held at the Kahuku motocross track. The surf competition along with Maui Ola’s Surf experience day will be held at the Turtle Bay Hilton. Dates will be December 8th and 9th between the Sunset Beach and Pipeline Competitions of the Triple Crown. This event will give amateur surfers and riders a chance to mix it up with their idols. Great times to be had while bringing support and awareness to the Maui Ola Foundation’s cause. Hope to see you there!!!!

2012 LBI Core Challenge / Moto Surf

28 of Long Beach Islands top surfers are invited to the LBI’s Core Challenge Main Event in September. There will be a trials event held in April to fill the remaining 8 spots.

The surf portion of the Moto Surf Event will be coinciding with the LBI’s Core Challenge. The Motocross portion is going to be held on Sept. 3 at Raceway Park’s motocross track in Englishtown, NJ.

Moto/Surf IV went off!! Racing was at Atco Mx Park with the surfing portion at Holyoke Beach in Beach Haven. The top 3 team results are as follows:

Moto Surf III went off! Time for Moto Surf IV!!!

Here we go Moto/Surf fans and competitors. MotoSurf III went OFF!!! The line up at the beach and track was stacked with some fierce competition. We upped the ante onto the surf portion of the event with a separate open pro-am surf division!! The best of the best local talent as well as some professionals put on an awesome display.

Time for Moto/Surf IV. Just so everyone is aware, we will be working with Jetty to make sure we don’t run on the same day as the Clam Jam. You do not have to choose between the two events. Our surf day will not be on the same day as theirs. Just like the last event we will be holding the motocross portion at Atco Mx park on Oct 15. The Surf portion will be held at Holyoke Ave. beach in Beach Haven. During the Surf portion of the event we will also be holding the Fall Classic Pro-Am with several separate surf divisions. Looking for some more local talent and professionals to get out there and tear it up. It is still anybody’s game for the series. Moto/Surf II Was a Great Success – Now On to Moto/Surf III!

For those who couldn’t make it out to Atco or Long Beach Island on June 18th and 19th, you truly missed a perfect kickoff to the summer season. We had a spectacular turnout and, although mother nature didn’t quite work with us on the 19th with waves, we were able to eventually crown a winner later in the week. Pictures and official results from Moto/Surf II will be posted online soon, so stay tuned!

In the mean time, we’re all systems go for Moto/Surf III as its right around the corner. Jot the dates AUGUST 13TH AND 14TH in your calendars and make sure you come out and support your racers and surfers. Registration for this event is still open. If you haven’t already signed up, we strongly encourage you do so as soon as possible. There are only limited spots available and with the success of Moto/Surf II, we expect them to go pretty quickly.

Due to the positive turnout for the early bird special registration, we have decided to extend our offer for an additional 10 days! After a successful debut this past summer, the Moto/Surf Competition is all set to return in 2011! MXSurfing.com is pleased to announce that the 2nd Annual Moto/Surf Competition will kick off on June 18th, 2011 on the tracks of Atco MX Park in Atco, NJ. ”We’re real excited,” says Chris Kretzer, co-founder of the competition.

“Everyone involved with the first Moto/Surf Competition – we’re all excited that we’re getting the opportunity to give it another go. It’s truly an amazing event that has seemingly taken a life of its own among the motocross and surfing communities.”

And that, Moto/Surf has. Ever since the inaugural tournament, Moto/Surf has created a buzz in both the motocross and surfing worlds. Interest in the tournament has grown drastically, particularly outside the tri-state area. ”It’s a tournament that was born in New Jersey but has the promise to one day go worldwide,” says Bill Kretzer, brother of Chris and another co-founder of the competition. ”And that’s exactly what we’re hoping for. These may be two different passions…but they share they same lifestyle.”
